How To Make Shrimp Egg Rolls

I love cooking egg rolls in the air fryer due to the truth of skipping the frying technique. They may be more wholesome and lighter (see all my air fryer recipes here). If you don’t have an air fryer, you may also bake them.

They’re so clean to make and taste so real! Serve them with a dipping sauce, like sweet chili sauce, duck sauce, or spiced mustard, in case you need it.

If you want to do a homemade takeout “fakeout” nighttime, the one’s egg rolls can be delicious with fried rice, General Tso’s chicken, or orange chook.


  • half pound ground red meat
  • Two tablespoons of freshly grated ginger
  • 1/four teaspoon salt
  • One medium head of cabbage, finely shredded
  • 5 or 6 green onions, chopped
  • three or four giant carrots, grated
  • three or four stalks of celery chopped
  • 1 cup of chopped mushrooms
  • half of a pound of cooked salad shrimp
  • Three tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • three tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • egg roll wrappers
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • Mandarin Orange Sauce, Thai Peanut Sauce, or each different Asian sauce for dipping


  • First, warm your 2 Tablespoons of oil in a wok or a deeper skillet, and stir fry your shrimp, cabbage, carrots, water chestnuts, and celery for 3-4 mins.
  • Then positioned into the pan the subsequent: bean sprouts, scallions, salt, soy sauce, and sugar, and stir very well.
  • Add this shrimp combination to every egg roll wrapper (about 3-4 tablespoons of combination).

Egg rolls are a traditional Chinese-American dish superior to Chinese spring rolls years beyond. They are fried rolls with a delicious internal savory filling, including meat and vegetables. Egg rolls are historically served as an appetizer alongside some dipping sauce. However, you can only eat a small batch for dinner.
